Retro Redux Shrug

Hi everyone,

I completed my Retro Redux Shrug which is also the first sweater I have knitted ever and I am ecstatic with the results. I ended up making some adjustments - I have really long arms so I knit the arm sections using the size large measurements and then knit the body section using the medium measurements. It fit perfectly so I'm glad I thought to make the arms longer. I also used a different ribbing around the body section, although to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what I did. I made a mistake somewhere and ended up with more of a diagonal rib than a traditional rib, but I decided I liked my ribbing better and went with it instead of ripping back. Here are some pics.
